Waivy Baby · Inclusion & Access

Accessibility
Statement

Every parent deserves a seamless, welcoming experience. Here's our commitment to making Waivy Baby accessible to everyone in our community.

Updated March 24, 2026 WCAG 2.1 Level AA Ongoing Commitment

♿ Accessibility is an ongoing journey at Waivy Baby — not a one-time project. We continuously review and improve both waivybaby.com and waivybabywellnessclub.com.

🌿 Our Promise to Every Family

At Waivy Baby, we believe that curated baby products and expert parenting guidance should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. We are committed to ensuring our digital experiences — waivybaby.com and waivybabywellnessclub.com — are inclusive and provide a seamless experience for all members of our community, including parents and caregivers with disabilities.

🤝
Our Commitment to Accessibility

Waivy Baby is dedicated to supporting every parent and caregiver throughout their journey. We recognize that accessibility is not a feature — it is a fundamental aspect of how we build and maintain our digital presence.

Our commitment applies to both of our digital properties:

  • waivybaby.com — our main e-commerce website, including shopping, checkout, account management, curated box browsing, and customer support flows.
  • waivybabywellnessclub.com — our membership portal, including community features, event pages, seminar registration, streamed and recorded materials, and member resources.
📐
Standards & Guidelines
🎯 Target Standard: WCAG 2.1, Level AA

Waivy Baby targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the recognized international standard for web accessibility — across both websites.

Principle Description Status
Perceivable Content presented in ways users can perceive — including alt text, captions, and adaptable layouts. Active
Operable All UI components and navigation are operable — including keyboard-only navigation. Active
Understandable Content and operation are understandable — readable text, predictable behavior, input assistance. Active
Robust Content interpreted reliably by assistive technologies, including screen readers. Ongoing

Waivy Baby does not warrant or guarantee that our websites will be error-free or fully accessible at all times, in all areas, or for all assistive technologies. Accessibility issues may not be identified until brought to our attention — please reach out if you encounter any barrier.

  • Text alternatives for all non-text content including images, icons, and product photos.
  • Captions and audio descriptions for all pre-recorded video content including seminar recordings.
  • Content adaptable in multiple ways without losing information or structure — works with screen magnification, screen readers, and alternative input devices.
  • Color contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
  • Keyboard accessible — all functionality available from a keyboard without requiring specific timing.
  • No seizure-triggering content — we avoid flashing content that could cause seizures.
  • Readable and predictable — language declared, consistent navigation, no unexpected context changes.
  • Input assistance — error identification, labels, and suggestions where input is required.

Ongoing Efforts & Improvements

We view accessibility as an ongoing journey rather than a one-time project. As we expand our premium membership programs and introduce new digital tools for parent education, we continuously review our platform to identify and remediate potential barriers.

  • Navigation & Usability: Ongoing improvements to site navigation so all parents and caregivers can find products, resources, and support more easily.
  • Surprise Drops Accessibility: All future surprise drop and limited-edition product releases will be launched with accessibility requirements built in from day one.
  • Seminar & Video Content: Continuing to improve caption accuracy and audio description availability for all recorded expert seminar content on the Wellness Club portal.
  • Community Features: Reviewing community forum, messaging, and event registration flows for keyboard accessibility and screen reader compatibility.
  • Checkout & Payments: Regular audits of shopping, checkout, and account management flows against WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria.
  • Third-Party Integration Reviews: Working with our development and vendor teams to evaluate the accessibility of third-party plugins, payment processors, and booking tools.
  • User Testing: Incorporating feedback from users with disabilities into our ongoing development and design process.
🔗
Third-Party Content & Services

Waivy Baby may use third-party plugins or link to external services for features such as payment processing, seminar booking, or community hosting. These providers may have their own accessibility policies.

While we actively encourage our partners to provide accessible content and evaluate accessibility as part of our vendor selection process, Waivy Baby cannot guarantee that all third-party content will fully conform to WCAG 2.1 standards.

  • Payment Processing: Checkout and billing flows powered by third-party payment processors — we select processors with strong accessibility track records.
  • Seminar & Booking Platforms: Expert session booking and virtual seminar delivery (e.g., Zoom or equivalent) — subject to those platforms' own accessibility policies.
  • Community & Messaging Tools: Forum, chat, and community hosting features powered by third-party tools — we review these for accessibility compliance.
  • Video Hosting: Seminar recordings hosted or streamed via third-party video platforms — captions and accessibility features may vary by platform.
  • Email Marketing & Communications: Transactional and marketing emails sent via third-party platforms — we design email templates to meet accessibility standards.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on a third-party feature within our platform, please let us know — we will investigate and work with the relevant provider where possible.
